They can then slip the completed cards into Pocket Pages and put them together in a folder to make their very own\u00a0magazine. \u00a0Watch this video to see how it works&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Intro to DIY Mag\" width=\"1100\" height=\"619\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/o6a6sL3l5mU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>We are planning on creating DIY Mags for each of the Lotta Magazine themes and the first issues inspired by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lottamagazine.com\/newsite\/colour-diy-mag\/\">The Colour Issue are on sale now<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is it for?<\/strong>\u00a0 The activities are designed for kids aged 8-12 but with help younger children can complete the activities and grown ups might enjoy them too.\u00a0Our content is designed to help kids learn a little and discover a lot about each theme. \u00a0It&#8217;s great for any curious kid but homeschoolers might find it a great resource.<\/p>\n<p><b>It\u2019s not a magazine. <\/b>Of course it is! A magazine is a collection of pictures and stories chosen and put together by an editor (that\u2019s your child now).\u00a0 All magazines, from Lotta to Vogue,\u00a0 start in a folder just like this before they go to the printers.<\/p>\n<p><b>Why printable?\u00a0<\/b> We decided to make printable activity cards instead of a book so we can make creativity fun and easy.\u00a0 There is no pressure \u2014 if your child draws on a card and decides they\u00a0don\u2019t like it, print another and start again. If they\u00a0love an activity, print it five times and make five different versions. \u00a0Don\u2019t worry parents \u2014 we have limited the amount of colour used in our designs so printing our pages won\u2019t eat up all your ink and cost you a fortune.<\/p>\n<p><b>The idea behind it.\u00a0 <\/b>We wanted to make something that makes creativity easy and accessible for the very busy kids of today. \u00a0Many\u00a0families can\u2019t fit a craft project into their week.\u00a0 Our DIY Mag is something that you can spend 5 minutes or 5 hours making, with limited supplies needed.
