Bird Template<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Scissors<\/li>\n<li>Light-weight A4 card (200gsm)<\/li>\n<li>Sticky tape<\/li>\n<li>Glue<\/li>\n<li>Colouring pencils, felt pens or paints to decorate them<\/li>\n<li>Two straws, one slightly smaller than the other. \u00a0I used a paper straw and an Ikea plastic straw.<\/li>\n<li>Books or images from the internet of Australian birds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img templates which can be turned into many Australian birds.<\/p>\n<p>Template 1 can become a cockatoo, galah, cockatiel, black or red cockatoo.<br \/>\nTemplate 2 can be a budgie, parrot, rainbow lorikeet or rosella.<br \/>\nTemplate 3 can be a magpie or kingfisher.<br \/>\nTemplate 4 can be smaller birds<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0like a zebra finch or Gouldian templates onto lightweight cardboard (I used 200gsm).<\/li>\n<li>Research the birds that you would like to draw.
