Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander artist classroom posters (NAIDOC Week)
$11.50
Decorate your art classroom for NAIDOC Week with these fun, colourful famous artist posters. Features Indigenous Australian (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, First Nations) artists from different eras and art styles featuring 15 artists: Gloria Petyarre, Minnie Pwerle, Kathleen Petyarre, John Mawurndjul, Dorothy Napangardi, Gabriella Possum Nungurrayi, Lin Onus, Albert Namatjira, Ken Thaiday Snr., Rover Thomas, Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, Bronwyn Bancroft, Tracey Moffatt, Emily Kame Kngwarreye and Sally Morgan.
This special set has different background colours in NAIDOC Week colours and the info bar at the bottom contains their Aborignal Nation (Country) and the types of art they make.
Each poster features an illustration of the artist wearing a badge/brooch that represents their artwork along with their name and their major art movement. For many of the Aboriginal artists, the badge is a little more generic than usual as it is difficult to represent their art without copyright infringement issues. The designs are clean, modern and kid-friendly. The posters are A4 PDFs. They can be printed at much larger sizes (A3, A2, A1) without loss of quality.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander customers are advised that this product contains the names and images of people who have died. The images are illustrations, no photos are included.
