Famous Australian Author Classroom Posters for Book Week

Bring Australian Children’s Literature to Life This Book Week

Looking for a simple way to transform your classroom, library or Book Week display into a celebration of Australian storytelling?

My Australian Author Book Week Posters are designed to introduce students to some of Australia’s most beloved children’s authors. These posters showcase well-known Australian writers including Men Fox, Tim Winton, Jeannie Baker, Jackie French Bob Graham and many more. Each author is paired with one of their famous books to help students make meaningful connections between authors and the stories they love.

Perfect for classrooms, libraries and reading corners, these posters are more than decorations — they’re conversation starters. Students naturally begin asking questions about the authors, exploring new books and discovering the people behind their favourite stories. The bright, modern designs create an engaging visual display that celebrates Australian literature while encouraging a love of reading.

With clean, contemporary illustrations and design, they’re suitable for students across a wide range of year levels. There are sets with Indigenous Authors that are also great for NAIDOC Week and a set with authors from New Zealand. Whether you’re preparing for CBCA Book Week, creating a library display, running an author study, or simply looking to celebrate Australian literature throughout the year, these posters provide an easy and engaging solution.

Help students discover the incredible authors who have shaped Australian children’s literature and create a Book Week display that inspires young readers long after the costumes have been packed away.

Available in the website store and in my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
